Orders and Acceptance
Every order placed at Sand + Fog is considered an offer to purchase our products. However, we reserve the right to decline or cancel orders in certain circumstances, including:
- Items being out of stock
- Pricing errors on the site
- Suspected fraudulent activity
If an order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund of the charged amount. Please note that order confirmation does not constitute final acceptance; your order is only accepted once it has shipped.
Pricing and Product Availability
Prices shown on Sand + Fog are subject to change without notice. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is accepted and processed. If an item you ordered becomes unavailable, our support team will contact you with the following options:
- Wait for restocking of the item
- Select a comparable substitute
- Cancel your order for a full refund
Product Descriptions and Proper Use
Sand + Fog provides detailed descriptions for all products, including fragrance notes, vessel materials, and estimated burn-times where applicable. Because scent perception varies with individual experience and room environment, actual fragrance performance can differ from descriptions.
Please follow all care instructions carefully—such as trimming candle wicks, avoiding drafts, and using diffusers as directed—to prevent damage. Note that damage arising from improper use is not covered under returns or warranty policies.
Customer Responsibilities
Providing accurate shipping and contact information is your responsibility. If an order ships to an incorrect address you provided, Sand + Fog is not liable for delivery failures. Additional shipping charges may apply to reship orders sent to corrected addresses.
Intellectual Property
All text, images, logos, and design elements on Sand + Fog belong either to us or our licensors. Commercial use or reproduction of any site content requires prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Where permitted by law, Sand + Fog excludes liability for any indirect or consequential losses related to site use or product purchases. Our total liability for any order is strictly limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
